The frequency at which location information is updated varies between networks.
In today’s world, having your location information accessible on multiple networks is essential as it enables others to locate you effortlessly. In light of this, utilizing PinMeTo can be highly advantageous. PinMeTo’s partnerships with prominent networks such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, and TomTom make it easier to establish your presence on these platforms, thus increasing your visibility.
In Google, you have a direct connection. It usually takes approximately 3 minutes to update the new information.
Apple Maps
Data is sent to Apple every day. It takes approximately 40 to 80 business hours to be updated.
Bing
Places information is normally updated within a few minutes to an hour but it can take up to 21 days
Waze
For Waze, a two way information transfer method is used, and you have a direct connection through Google Business Profile. PinMeTo pushes data to the network as soon as there are data changes, and the network pushes data back to PinMeTo. PinMeTo can verify what data is in the network.
Facebook also uses a two way information transfer method with direct connection. PinMeTo pushes data to the network as soon as there are data changes, and the network pushes data to PinMeTo. PinMeTo can verify what data is in the network.
Instagram also uses a two way information transfer method with direct connection, as it’s directly linked to Facebook. PinMeTo pushes data to the network as soon as there are data changes, and the network pushes data to PinMeTo. PinMeTo can verify what data is in the network.
TomTom
In TomTom the data transfer is only one way. TomTom gets the data from PinMeTo via Get API once every 3 to 6 months. The exact time depends only on TomTom, and PinMeTo has no influence on that.
HERE
In HERE the data transfer is only one way. HERE gets the data from PinMeTo via Get API once every 3 to 6 months. The exact time depends only on HERE, and PinMeTo has no influence on that.
Foursquare
Data transfer to Foursquare is one way only. PinMeTo submits the data to the network once a week, every wednesday at 11 a.m. UTC, but doesn’t receive feedback about whether it’s published or not, and about what data is live. 3rd party networks buy data from them as well.
